Catechist's Prayer

O Lord, You entrust children and adults to me.
Guide me in ways to help them come to
know and love you better.
Help us grow together in actions
that befit disciples.
Teach me to be understanding and patient,
to listen, as I would have others listen to me.
Lead me in affirming those in my care
so they do not lose heart even as they
grow in knowledge.
With your support, Lord, I will in fact,
minister to those whom I teach.
Amen.
