                                                                      CATECHIST NOTES
                                      Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
                                                     January 24, 25, 26 & 28, 2012


      1) Level 2 Catechists:  Please return your own form for Penance and Eucharist
         choices so that your child can be included in the head count for your date.

     2) Catechist notes for the week are posted every Monday afternoon on our website.      
         www.saintanthonysreligioused.com, click for catechists, scroll down to the date you
         want and click.   

     3) Please distribute the Parent Enrichment Flyer to your class today.

     4) Saturday catechists: Distribute to your class the enclosed blue “Snow Closings
         Procedure” so the parents know what procedure to follow in case of snow.

     5) Level 6 Catechists: Please have all students who were absent last week report
         immediately to the gym for the showing of Part I of the DVD about the Mass.  
         When we are finished they will remain in the gym, I will call each class over the PA
         to process to the gym for the showing of Part II of the DVD.

     6) All Level 6 students should have received a Bible to bring to class every week.  If
        you still have someone who does not have a Bible please send them to the front desk.

     7) ALL CATECHISTS: Please plan on attending a meeting next week following your
         session in Room #124. Items being discussed – Religious Ed Week and Young
         Stewards Day.

     8) Discipline problems need to be addressed immediately.  Please call parent and ask
         for their support to achieve better behavior.

     9) REMINDER: Absolutely no food or drinks allowed in the classrooms.  

   10) H-E-L-P!! Substitutes and Hall Helpers on all days are needed.  If you are
         available to “sub” at another session or know someone who is available to help us
         in the halls, please let us know as soon as possible. God loves the cheerful giver!

   11) Levels 4-6: Deadline for entries to the Catholic Daughters Contest is the week   
         of January 30; forms are still available at the front desk.  One entry has been
         submitted to our office as of today.  Encourage your disciples to participate.

   12) ATT: LEVELS 7 & 8:
             a) Please submit all the Confirmation assignments that you have collected
                 from your disciples thus far along with your check list inside the clear
                 plastic envelope.   
             b) Please call the parent of any disciple who has not completed the
                 assignments.
