CATECHIST NOTES Tues., Wed., Thurs. & Sat. Nov. 17, 18, 19 & 21, 2009
1) Wednesday and Saturday catechists read last weeks catechist notes first.
2) Distribute the enclosed Christmas Gift Giving Flyer to all your disciples today.
Write the names of absentees on the remaining flyers and distribute to them when
they return. These organizations depend on Religious Ed for their gift giving
especially during these difficult economic times. But be careful, we don’t know the
economic situation our own children’s families are in.
3) IMPORTANT ALL CATECHISTS-TODAY IS A MEETING to clarify details of
the Advent/ Christmas Presentation after class. This is an opportunity to ask
questions after reviewing the Presentation Outline you received last week.
4) ATTENTION ALL CATECHISTS: Song sheets and discs for Advent/Christmas
Presentation are in your folders. Use these to practice each week and RETURN BOTH
PAPERS AND DISCS EACH WEEK IN YOUR FOLDER.
5) Announce to your class - Advent wreath making after the 9am Mass on Sunday,
Nov. 29, the first Sunday of Advent–orders for candles and greens, $5.00 or orders
for full rings, greens and candles $10 will be taken at the 9am Mass on Nov. 15&22.
